Kenya’s boundless wilderness and big game has long attracted adventure seekers from all over the globe. No other African country can boast such an incredible range of landscapes, unique geographical features and species.

In this great journey there is plenty to explore, and plenty of species to encounter. This is a land of endless potential for the wildlife enthusiast. We will see vast, almost biblical panoramas of the open bush and learn along the way of the people, animals, birds and plants that live in this extraordinarily beautiful area. Vast herds of buffalo, wildebeest, antelope, zebra, and elephant bring the bush alive with exciting drama of predator and prey. From the hustle and bustle of Nairobi to the Samburu Reserve, home of the colourful Samburu people, we travel to the flamingo-lined shores of Lake Nakuru, the spectacular Great Rift Valley, and then to witness the incredible community and wildlife of the Maasai Mara Reserve in the Northern Serengeti including the great migratory herds of the open savannah. Throughout our journey, we are inspired by the bountiful spirit of the people and the extraordinary countryside. Read more…….

East Africa has so much to offer the adventure safari enthusiast – camping in astonishingly beautiful wildlife reserves, cycling or horseback riding alongside herds of game, climbing ice clad equatorial mountains, walking or riding camels in remote and unexploited areas, boating, deep sea fishing, scuba diving amongst the vividly colourful tropical fish of the coral reefs, trekking in misty rainforests for chimpanzee or gorilla groups or playing golf on the very varied and challenging courses in some of Kenya’s most scenic areas. Adventure safaris range from luxurious where all your needs are catered for and accommodation, mostly under canvas, is sophisticated and comfortable with large walk-in tents as previously described; to budget camping where everyone pitches in and helps out and your evening wash is often only a bowl of water; to nights spent on a camp bed with a mosquito net under the stars. A certain amount of dusty and rough roads have to be endured to reach some of Africa’s remote and unspoilt areas but all lead to an unparalleled and unforgettable experience.

We are a Sales and Marketing service for travel agents, hotels and other stakeholders in the industry in Kenya. We also provide information to travellers as we at the same time bring them closer to the service providers. Our main aim has been and is to create a platform that will link buyers and sellers and vice versa as they indulge in the search for the best services in a safari. Marketing Kenya abroad of course will naturally come in and this is a task we have taken with utmost pride and hope to increase awareness out there. We welcome all to come to Kenya, the land of contrasts, natural beauty and the most gravitating cultural background.

In a series of actions we have carefully studied and implemented, we are proud to announce yet another module that we have published and is already in use. We welcome all players in the industry to visit our new web directory (http://directory.clicksafaris.com), that targets to add value to our existing product. As for now, the directory is strictly meant for the travel sector in Kenya and as such all submissions are welcome. We will of course scrutinise all the submissions manually before approval. As all of you may know, a web directory is an essential part of the success your websites can enjoy within the web. We have thus come up with this idea, hoping to create a base for our sector, such that the millions of travellers from around the world, can have a unique meeting point when searching for a safari provider in Kenya, so we do not want you to be left behind.

Of course the new module comes in with some goodies. We have been trying to figure out a better way of allowing you to publish your packages online. This has been made easier as the space we have set aside is enough and that will enhance direct sales. Guests will be able to see your best packages within the same site and contact you directly for purchase either by mail or through a link of your choice.

For those who might need tutorials, please let us know and we shall be proud to help. You can contact us via mail and once we get your request, we shall then avail details on how to conduct the tutorials. Soon we shall upload literature detailing instructions on how to use our interface.

Welcome to a new way of selling your safaris, an additional move to reach more clientele, and together we believe we can make greater achievements.

Thank you for believing in us

African Ultimate Adventures is a safari operator dedicated to creating ‘out of the ordinary’ and adventurous safaris for travellers that are looking for a more original approach to safaris.

Whichever style of comfort or means of transport that you are looking for, we can take you to discover traditional Africa with it’s wilderness of unequalled beauty. We will take you to our favourite destinations which are still today rarely visited.
Now our main activity is ecologically friendly walking safaris in association with local communities.

The Great Rift Valley slices it’s way through Kenya & Tanzania from north to south creating the most spectacular scenery and ecosystems. These two countries are already renowned for their abundant wildlife and we can reveal to you other unknown facets of the countries, from astonishing cultural aspects to grandiose landscapes. We have been organising safaris since 2004 so you can be confident that we have the experience.

Our safaris are small groups of maximum 12 clients for a minimal impact on the environment and local village life, and we have fixed group departures as well as catering for private groups of friends & families. Children are especially welcome, our own children have travelled throughout these regions and we understand their needs. We aim to ensure that our safaris benefit the local communities and we are strict to abide by an environmental code of ethics. Our aim is to leave as little trace of our visit as possible, so that others coming after will discover the natural beauty as we did.

Golfing in Kenya

For ages Kenya has been in the forefront as one of the best destinations in the world. An original and very unique blend of possibilities that Kenya offers for it’s international tourists has since long ago earned her a strong recognition regarding the country as a world-class destination for safari lovers.

The search for a perfect destination that can offer everything to reach all the market niches has been all along the reason Kenya has been exploring in new products. We already know that there is no other country in the world that can offer a better scenario for tourists when it comes to safaris. Kenya has some of the best national parks and reserves world over, 59 in total, moreover we boast to be home to some of the best tropical beaches along a 300 miles coastal line and just some few minutes away from the national parks, a natural coincidence that makes it possible for beach holiday lovers to sample some of our national parks in the region. We also boast to have a huge national park just some few minutes away from the capital city, the Nairobi National Park. The Masai Mara national park which is home to one of the modern world wonders (the annual migration) is just but one of the best examples of excellence in conservation and the zeal to share such a rare natural spectacle with the whole world. And most of all we are home to 42 cultures, most of them remaining unchanged by the modern lifestyles roaring the urban cities.

Golfing in Kenya has been a culture since time in memorial but known to very few though recently, Kenya has been considered an emerging Golf destination. This consideration has seen an enormous change as more and more international golfers have made their way into the Kenyan Golf Courses. Kenya has a total number of 39 Golf Courses. 12 of these courses host annual international tournaments. The weather patterns in Kenya make it one of the few destinations in the world where playing the game is possible during the whole year. An array of choices await golfers as the golf courses a spread in the whole country. You can choose between golf courses close to the beach and those close to the mountains. Most Golf Courses are situated at least 1500 metres above the sea level, in fact it is said that this height gives your swing an additional effect making your ball cover a distance equivalent to an extra 10%.

It has been officially said that this year is proving to be the most beautiful. The event occurs around the same time every year and brings millions of animals mainly the Wildbeasts as they cross river mara towards the Serengeti reserve in search for fresh lush. according to the wardens, perhaps close to 2 million animals have crossed the river in a suicidal mission as they are prone to attacks from a huge number of crocodiles within the Mara river. It is said that the reason as to why they usually cross from one side of the river to the other could be due to the smell of fresh grass from the Serengeti after the long rains though no one knows for sure how the call happens.

The annual migration in Mara is a singular event that has recently been named one of the seven new wonders of the world and is an attraction to many holiday makers in Kenya during this period of the year. Kenya saw the numbers of tourists drop down since the year 2007 which was actually a year that set the highest records of arrivals. This trend has however changed this year and indications are that the arrivals this year might outdo the figures witnessed back then despite the financial crisis that has hit the world.

This shows that Kenya has done it’s homework with it’s various marketing campaigns and we might be seeing a big boost with the new constitution that has been adopted as major development in the grass roots is expected hence improvement in infrastructures which will reduce the number of hours needed to travel between destinations within the country. Tourism is the major earner of the economy of Kenya and the government is keen to diversify the product which is mainly the safari, but little has been done to create awareness of other modalities which include cultural safaris, beach holidays in it’s world class white sandy beaches in the lower and north coasts. It is hoped that by 2030, Kenya will be a huge player in the sector worldwide.

On the other hand the little that has been done to market the Kenyan coast is slowly bearing fruits. An acceptable number of charter flights have been operating during the summer between the source markets especially European cities and the airport of Mombasa. Traditional source markets like Italy still keep an eye on the Kenyan Coast, but we also have Germans, and also Spaniards even the French coming back, suprisingly the americans are also back in big numbers and have outdone the Italians which traditionally made the biggest numbers.

Another product that has ever since existed is sports tourism. Little has been done here though we have also seen a vigorous marketing campaigns aimed at attracting golf tourism. Kenya is one of those few destinations which has plenty of quality golf courses, some of them right at the beach front and where golf can be practised during the whole year due to the weather patterns. Athletism also is another sport that has seen some attraction from around the world with some tourists coming specifically to train with some Kenyan renowned athletes, our champions.

Kenya on the scene again with the best running ad on CNN award winner

Kenya gets yet another award after being regarded as having run the best tourism ad on CNN in a rank that saw Kenya beat over 100 ads from tourism destinations worldwide.

Kenya is slowly but sure trying to recover it’s position as a tourism destination with it’s participation in the various tourism fairs. In January 2010 they participated in Madrid FITUR with an important representation from the KTB and also a few travel agents.

This month they are in Berlin at the ITB with an aim to recapture the source market which in the last year has seen it’s numbers decrease leaving Italy as the leading source market for Kenya. They are actually keen on promoting tourism in the coast area as this is already known to the Germans who have ever since loved Kenyan beaches ensuring them that Kenya is still that very unique option for a beach safari, without forgetting the possibilities of other tourism activities within reach. Other upcoming tourism products Kenya is promoting world over is Golf. Kenya boasts numerous quality golf courses around the country. Very few Golf lovers however know that Kenya is one of the rare places around the world where it is possible to practice the game during the whole year.

Kenya was at it’s best in the year 2007 when the figures relating to the number of international tourists hit an all time high bringing in very high returns which translated into job creation and a boost to the local economy. This now remains the target for a good start. So much is going on to make sure that issues regarding security are dealt with and also the infrastructures are set to acceptable if not outstanding standards which meet the international requirements.

Conservation work is also going on. A good example is the inauguration of the Aberdares fence which has taken years to construct but now complete. The fence is aimed at impeding human encroachment in the water tower, on which most of the surrounding areas and the reserves depend. Recently we also saw the intervention of the government in the Mau conservation area with the aim of recovering the forest cover. This will help a great deal in conserving our flora and fauna in the national parks. It is also hoped that once the forest cover is recovered, the climate patterns will be more stable and more predictable enhancing as such, other aspects as the agricultural activities around the country.
